All persons hired by Learning First Educational Services are required to verify identity and employment eligibility and will undergo a criminal background investigation.  Teachers must attend a New Teacher Orientation before they can be hired.

Learning First Educational Services accepts applications on a continuous basis for all academic programs and services. Qualifications:

• Have at least a bachelor’s degree in English, math, science, social studies, Spanish, or special education
• Be a college graduate, graduate student, or certified teacher (retirees included)
• Be a college senior with a minimum 3.0 GPA  in core area
• Other college students can apply as substitute teachers

Salary:

$20 - $30 per hour

NOTE: All applicants are required to undergo a criminal background check. It is the applicant’s responsibility to obtain an OFFICIAL COPY of his/her criminal background records. The criminal background check must bear the official seal of the law enforcement agency conducting the investigation. Applicants must have the agency forward the criminal background check in a sealed envelope with the agency’s official signature across the sealed portion of the envelope.
