Gloria D. Harris is a published author, educator, mental health counselor, workshop presenter, and entrepreneur.
She earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Mathematics from Savannah State University, Savannah, GA; a Master’s degree in School Counseling from Georgia Southern University, Statesboro, GA; and a Specialist degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Lincoln Memorial University, Harrogate, TN. Ms. Harris is a Licensed Professional Counselor, National Certified Counselor, and Certified Anger Management Specialist.
Ms. Harris created Learning First Educational Services in 2004 and the company has been a SES Provider since 2006. She also serves as the CEO of Learning First, Inc., an educational non-profit organization. |

As a mental health counselor, Ms. Harris travels around the world providing mental health services to military personnel and their families.
Ms. Harris has eighteen years of experience as an educator and counselor. She is the author of The Scholarship and HBCU Guide for African American Students (2006), which was endorsed by Tavis Smiley and the HONDA Foundation. In 2008, Ms. Harris published, Scholarships, Grants and More! 2009 Edition: The Ultimate Guide for Finding Money for College. In late 2010, she will publish Your Well Will Never Run Dry: Trust God and He Will Provide for You.
